I flipped a component on my board because it seems the only way to get to the desired orientation. Now, the place silkscreen is on the bottom of the board. I want the place details to stay on the top of the board.

Please take the time to accurately explain your actions and needs.
For example:
Which library part exactly
Why did "Rotate" not give you what you wanted.
Which side of the board did you want the part i.e. Did you want to "Mirror"
the part to the bottom of the board?
Without more detail we cannot assist with a quick answer and end up typing
FYI
Parts are always built in a library as if viewed from above. If you intend
to have a part mounted on the bottom but silk screen on the top then the
part would need to have the silk screen mirrored to the bottom when you make
the package so that it ends up on the top when the part is mirrored on the
board.
