Flipping a Component, but keep it on Top Layer

I flipped a component on my board because it seems the only way to get to the desired orientation. Now, the place silkscreen is on the bottom of the board. I want the place details to stay on the top of the board.

display only the tplace and bplace layers.
select the part that is not where you want it to be.
open its properties page and change the layer, click apply
and outline should change color.
if you dont display both layers part will disappear when you
change its layer.
