    I hope you're doing well. It sounds like you're trying to remove the

    silkscreen from the board. If I'm incorrect on that assumption, please

    correct me.

     

    In order to disable the silkscreen from showing up in the gerbers you

    must make sure that tPlace, tNames, bPlace, and bNames are not in the

    gerbers. Here's the procedure assuming a two-layer board assuming

    components on top only.

     

    1. Click the CAM processor icon

    2. In the CAM processor dialog go File->Open->Job...

    3. Select gerb274x.cam and click open.

    4. You'll see several tabs along the top find and select the one that

    says Silk Screen CMP(for board with components on both sides you'll also

    see Silk Screen SOL).

    5. Click on the tNames and tPlace layers to disable them. The only layer

    that should be highlighted is Dimension.

    6. Click Process job to create the gerbers.
