I'm a young engineer with extensive experience working on EAGLE. My interests include Power Supply design and LED solid state lighting, and I'm always impressed by a well designed PCB.

    Jorge,

I'm trying to draw a hash filled semicircle with the two corners

mitered.  Clicking on a polygon's vertex gives me an error beep.

Is it possible to miter the corners of a polygon?

The only workaround I have found is to move the vertex up, then split

the straight line cutting across the semicirle to leave a 45 degree

segment joining the end of the diameter line to the end of the arc.

Then I edit the properties of the 45 deg line and give it a 90 degree arc.

    Thanks,

        - Chuck

That library only contains packages. Since these can't be brought into a

schematic, EAGLE doesn't include the library in the ADD dialog for the

schematic editor. If you try it from the board editor you will see that

    it works.

    Hello, Jorge,

I have a question but had already started a thread when I saw your post.  I have used several CAD systems years ago including PCAD, ORCAD and TangoPro but am having a small problem getting started in symbol creation.  Perhaps you could comment here:

    http://www.element14.com/community/thread/32402/l/single-selection-of-neighboring-adjacent-items-on-a-worksheethttp://www.element14.com/community/thread/32402/l/single-selection-of-neighboring-adjacent-items-on-a-worksheet

    rather than me reposting.

Also, I have requested a contact with you re a possible consultation re power supply design, FYI.

    Regards,

    David

    Hi Klas,

Look at your LTSpice design. Do you have any custom-made components in

it? Did you remember to place GND symbols in your LTSpice schematic?

If you have custom LTSpice components then you have to make a matching

EAGLE part. See the Simulate with EAGLE webinar up on youtube.

    Hi Blake,

Thanks for specifying. The element-14 libraries have a different

contact, usually when you download these they'll have a readme file the

give you the contact information for the department that made those. The

element-14 libraries are not made in direct association with Cadsoft,

that's why they have a different contact.

    Hi Blake,

Contact librarian@cadsoft.de. Make sure to provide

documentation(datasheet, IPC image, etc.) to demonstrate the error in

    the library.
