Hi. I'm new to EAGLE and experienced something unexpected yesterday.
I'd already added some IC parts to my schematic, and they'd correctly been named "U1", "U2", and "U3". Then upon adding a fourth library part I'd recently created to a schematic, instead of "U4", the part name appeared as "U$1". I rechecked the layer used in the symbol's ">Name" variable to make sure it was "95 Names". I'd appreciate some help figuring out what I did wrong. Thanks!
