Received a (.net) netlist file. Not sure which package/CAD/SIM program it came from.
Starts like so:
$PACKAGES
0603! GRM188R60G106ME47D; C1
0402! GRM155R60J475ME47D; C2
0402! GRM155R60J474KE19J; C3
0402! C0402C104M8RACTU; C4
1-0201! 0201ZD103KAT2A; C5
I tried the following ULP:
netlist-converter.ulp
With the following settings:
Line separator: SPACE
Word separator: .
Net in row: 1
Part in row: 2
Pad in row: 3
Netlist from CAD system: Unknown (all default settings)
I was able to perform the following steps:
1. Read list (appears to have read in the entire netlist file),
2. Generate net script (not sure if this was performed correctly)
Example (first few lines of Eagle net script):
;
SIGNAL '0603!'
GRM188R60G106ME47D; C1;
SIGNAL '0402!'
GRM155R60J475ME47D; C2
GRM155R60J474KE19J; C3
C0402C104M8RACTU; C4;
SIGNAL '1-0201!'
3. Save net script,
However I get errors when I try to Run net script:
Example:
..../x.scr, line 3:
Unknown element GRM188R60G106ME47D in signal 0603!
At his point I hit stop.
I'm guessing this ulp needs a list of elements as well. Perhaps derived from an imported BOM.
I do have a BOM file (excel) of the following format: "Comment Pattern Quantity Components"
I did not see a ulp or scr which may facilitate.
If possible please point me in the right direction.
Thank you,
C
