Bug - automatic spacing when routing differential pairs requires right angles excusively?

Jorge Garcia -

When I route a differential pair on a diagonal (at an angle other than 0 or 90 degrees), Eagle tries to use my netclass spacing, but doesn't account for the diagonal angle.  The two traces of the differential pair wind up too close together.  It's as if Eagle doesn't really factor in the angle to inplement the requested netclass spacing.  At least that's what I see for Eagle Professional 6.4.0 for Windows.  Am I not doing it correctly?  Is this a limitation even in the current versions of Eagle, that differential pairs have to be routed at right angle exclusively when using the differential routing feature or the differential spacing will suffer?  Have you heard of plans to remove this restriction?

  Thank you.

    Hi Ken,

That's interesting, can you forward a picture illustrating the issue?

Additionally I would recommend updating to V6.6.0 since there have

    several bug fixes.

Feel free to e-mail me at support@cadsoftusa.com

Let me know if there's anything else I can do for you.

    Best Regards,

    Jorge Garcia
