I have been a loyal user of Eagle for many years, and like the performance -- simplicity and stability. What is needed to expand acceptance to bigger corporate usage is generation of ODB++ format data for PCB fabrication and use in programming placement machines. Also what would be needed is the ability to import Orcad, Altium/Protel, PCAD, and PADS data formats and libraries. This would make the use of Eagle a snap decision. Aside from "dum-dums" who must do simulations, Eagle does everything you need and is simple to use. I'm not saying LTSpice is bad of course -- works fine for most needs. But the new improvements I'm proposing would go far in cementing the use of Eagle on a broader scale.
