If you changes the Xref label formatting string it will only be valid for the system the schematic was drawn on.
Thus, if opening the schematic on a different system than what it was designed on, the schematic may get quite cluttered since the xref label format may be different,.
The xref label format should therefor follow the design, i.e. stored in the xml structure of a schematic drawing
The set menu should parse the xml structure to see if there is an xref label tag which specifies the formatting to use, if not located a default variant should be used.
The set menu may also have a button to reset the format if someone would like to do that.
