How to align components on the board

Former Member
Former Member over 10 years ago

Hi all.

I'm here again to ask for experts of made PCB, to know if there is a fast way to align components on the board. As you can see on the attach, the components has the same function. Both sides have to have the same coordinates to appear to be "symmetrical". This is good when someone is going to buy your PCB. I use the tools Info > copy the coordinates > and then past the same of all the components in this line. Someone can help me with this?

Thank all.

The attachment didn't make it into the newsgroup, but maybe I can

    give some basic hints:

    1. I prefer to use the big cursor when placing components. This can be

        selected in Options/User Interface.

    2. Use a reasonable grid for placing compnents. Reasonable means not

too fine, fitting to the components pitch...

    3. If a component is not on grid, use Ctrl + MOVE command to let it

        snap on grid.
