Perceived Net connection issue with 7.5

When using EAGLE 7.5 I noticed that when laying down NETS, then placing the Net label annotations and then running the NAME to rename the nets that connections of the said nets do necessarily make connections to other members of that electrical net.

I noticed it does this for nets being renamed from say N$1 to MYNET without the connect net N$1 to MYNET dialog box appearing.

 

My workaround is to delete the faulty net and to recreate it.

 

If this is verified as a real bug then can you arrange for it to be fixed?

    Upon further investigation, the nets that were faulty are reported as either overlapped or not connected to a component (even though they were placed properly)via the Warning button. No amount of net manipulation will allow them to be connected to the component pin properly. The only option is to delete the fault nets and replace them with a new ones.

    just pick up the component and drop it in place. That should connect

    the pin(s) to the net(s) (assuming that the pins and netterminals are

    on grid).

    The Grid wasn't altered and one shouldn't have to do that!

    Something more insidious is going on.

    If the net is connected to two components, the Show command highlights the connection on the Schematic but on the PCB it'll only highlight the pins connected to the net but draws no airwire between them thus can't be routed.

    ratsnest will refresh the air wires. do you get a unrouted count?

    Do any of the air wires belong to the net in question?

    Air wires only show between the closest two points in a unrouted net.
