How do you keep the Schematic Capture Grid Display Settings?

COMPACT

Hi Jorge,

With 7.5 how does one keep the schematic grid option set to how it was when the current schematic file was last opened?

If I open a Schematic, set grid display on, save the file, exit EAGLE and then restart EAGLE and open the schematic file the grid is now off.

Cheers

Compact

    Hi Compact,

    The easiest way would be to set this up as a default in the eagle.scr

    file. Open the eagle.scr file (It's accesible from the Control Panel >

    Scripts tree). Find the SCH: heading.

    Beneath the SCH heading add the following line:

    GRID ON;

    Save the eagle.scr file. Now every time you open a schematic the grid

    will be visible. The eagle.scr file is very useful for setting up

    defaults since it runs every time a new editor is opened.

    hth,

    Jorge Garcia

    Thanks Jorge, but what about schematic files that I want the display grid to remain off when opened?
