I just upgraded to Windows 10 and Eagle will no longer run. My previous license will not work. Do I need to purchase a new license. Not happy
You should not have to purchase a new license (I have yet to see anyone
post anything to make me consider "upgrading" to windows 10 from win7!).
It is probably some sort of protection thing that is biting you, but you
should not need a new license. You may have to re-install your license
files you have. Hopefully others can tell you the exact steps.

"upgrading" to windows 10 from win7
If you've got the disk space it's better to copy your Win7 partition to another partition using something like Acronis and upgrade that partition to Win10.
That way you can have a duel boot PC and can use both versions of Windows.
There are somethings that are useful in Windows 10, for instance I like the HP scanner software.
Display fonts are better in Win10.
The downside Of Win10 is the junk apps that Microsoft keeps putting on your PC, old kit might also not work.
The free upgrade option to Win10 is likely to expire later this year so I suggest you take the plunge soon.
If you duel boot your PC or take a backup of Win7 with Acronis it's easy to wipe Win10 if you want.
