Module offset name in PCB but not in schematic

jltharin

Hi all!

I have a question about module:

I put in a module an offset of "100", I saw that in my PCB the part "C1" who is in this module have now as name "C101". That's perfect to avoid to long name.

My question is: exist-it a trick to have the same name "C101" in schematic also. Currently it's still "C1"?

Best Regards,

Jean-Louis

    Hi Jean-Louis,

no this is not possible in a hierachical schematic. If you use an

offset for the module instance, the component name C1 will result

in C101. If you would use your module more than once, C1 from within the

module will be used several and have for example the names C101,

C201, C301 and so on in the layout.
