Hi All,
I'm using the follow me router and I'm wondering if there is a way to try and get Eagle to set top/bottom based on the direction of travel?
IE I tend to find in my work that it really helps to try and keep say horizontal or mostly horizontal traces on top and vertical traces on bottom.
It seems though with the follow me router that it follows the basic rules of not crossing other traces but often will change to top/bottom and continue along in that layer.
I'd like to force it back to my preference if possible. Yes it means potentially more vias but I've found when routine a small board you need the easy of crossing
when you are going a certain direction.
I realize I can use the change layer wrench tool but it seems a little tedious as it takes me to the dialog each time.
I'm open to other suggestions. I did try just letting the follow me router do its thing and kind of ended up with a mess.
Part of my issue is I have to route a bunch of signals from a rectangular set of connectors and there is a lot of wrapping around and crossing going on.
