I am working on a part of my project which has to do with temperature control of a gas chromatography. I purchased Farnell CAL3300 temperature controller to carry out this function.
My aim is to use the CAL 3300 with associated components such as type K sensor (thermocouple), Solid state relay (SSR) and heater (Load). The electrical connection is such that the CAL 3300 has a separate supply source while the power supply to the heater is terminated through the SSR.
The challenge i am having is that after repeatedly running tuning at set-point, the controller (CAL3300) does not maintain the temperature of the heater at the desired set-point.
Kindly advise me on what to do.
