I searched the whole net to find the same exact element however i still
hadn't found that. It's my first time with the program so i don't
actually know how to connect this w/o using this element. I tried to do
it with other, however it's too hard for me. I used 4060 but it's not the
same.

Note that Joern's post included asterisks either side of the 4060 but
unfortunately by the time it reached Element14 where you are viewing it
just showed it as bold text.....
I just replied on your version of this request on the other forum section.

As this is your first time with EAGLE I think my point from that thread
about going through some tutorials is even more valid. Go through various
online resources and learn how to use the tool properly. Your current query
is very easy to resolve and it doesn't take long to learn how to do this.
If you still have problems once you've got to grips with the basics of the

You might also want to check out the "First Flights - Cadsoft Eagle" series
(there are 6 parts) on Youtube. They are very good and I found them very
helpful. The first one is at https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pgzcXLRz8Y4
which is the basic schematic.

@ Rachael
Thanks for correcting "me" with the asterisks
I never go to element14 since it has a crap link, so I didn't see it.
@Maciej
It is not nice to post the same question 3 times.
To answer your question if you just write the number of the device with
an asterisk in front and behind then eagle searches all devices like that.
Characters in front and behind the number are usually the
identification by the different companies AND additionally for the
different packages too.
That would lead to easily 20 and more entrances for only one device.
Ridiculous.
If you search for a device as described above then you find it in the
40xx library.
Imho the device is not found in a DIP package anymore and you must check
the data sheet for
each device anyway.

How did you not find it? Unless you've not given all the info required to find the part in your original post?
If I go to that site and enter 74HC4060* into the search box I get results with both SOIC and DIP versions of the part. Note the asterisk (*) on the end which is a wildcard to expand the search.....
It's been 2 days and you've still not got yourself the part you require. It really wouldn't have taken more than about 2 minutes to create the part yourself. Searching the internet and asking on forums for parts really is a false economy, just learn how to create parts yourself, it really isn't hard.
