Well, my Eagle has informed me that 8.0.2 is now available, and so I downloaded and installed it. Now, the annoying thing is that it doesn't uninstall the old version (8.0.1 for me). When I do uninstall the old version manually, it also deletes the start menu entries, so I no longer have a shortcut. This is the second time I've been caught out. It's nothing serious; no data has been lost, and the "quick" way around is just to reinstall the new version. I overwrote the 8.0.2 install, and it still works fine, and I have my start menu icon back again. Any chance of having the updaters look for existing installs, and asking if you want to remove them first?
