Distance Measuring Sensors between them ?

I'm new to here. My friend recommended this place to find a sensor that I need.

 

If it's not the way, sorry for the rudeness.

 

 

 

I'm trying to figure out the distance between three sensors to draw a triangle.

 

Specifically, the sensors will be located on hand, body and foot.

 

By measuring the distance between sensors, I could read the data and make out triangle (could be 2D or 3D anyway) .

 

 

 

Are there any sensors fit into this purpose?

    "Sensors", eh?  There's a better way, and Hollywood does this all the

    time.  Put markers on the body and take a photograph.  Use deep thought

    algorithms to detect the markers in the photo.  Knowing the height of

    the subject, you'll also know the distance between the markers.

     

    Do you remember the movie "Avatar"?  This is exactly how the film makers

    were able to generate such life-like motion in the computer generated

    blue natives.

     

    Other than that, I believe your friend is wrong.  This forum focuses on

    Eagle ECAD.
