Edit: Adding this line: I can't place points in the command line when I try to place pads in the package editor.
I have Eagle 6.5.0 Light for 64-bit Mint Linux. I want to place 32 pads in the package editor. I've calculated all the points, and it would be much faster if I could place them in the command window, because they would be accurate. This link shows it can be done: Cadsoft Eagle how to make parts tutorial - DP
I notice the bug is when both coordinates are negative. However, the author of the article I linked to suggests making some negative, so that the package will be centered. I can manually place the points, but it's a real pain to get it to be accurate. Does anyone know how to solve this? I have done searches, but I saw no relevant results.
Thanks in advance.
