How to measure the value of spiral inductance in Eagle?

decim

Hi guys!

I am working at a flat spiral coil with Flyback circuit. I run the print-inductor.ulp in Eagle Board interface and also add some component in it.

How can i know the inductor value of the flat spiral coil? Can i determine what material (like copper) can be used of this flat spiral coil in the Eagle?

I don't think EAGLE can simulate this, the usual approach is to either find the formula online or in a textbook or to spend $$$ on simulation software. Some manufacturers of transformers or power supply ICs may have tools for this too. Ultimately you'll also likely want to measure it, i.e. get it manufactured and then measure it at your desired frequency.
