Eagle default library does not contain some packages

It's hard to say exactly, since it behaves correctly for me. What

exactly do you mean by the packages being missing from the "add" dialog?

When I try to add from that library, the entries in the list look like:

      PINHD-1X1      3D  PIN HEADER

   >  PINHD-1X2          PIN HEADER

   >  PINHD-1X3          PIN HEADER

   >  PINHD-1X4          PIN HEADER

   >  PINHD-1X5          PIN HEADER

   >  PINHD-1X6          PIN HEADER

   >  PINHD-1X7          PIN HEADER

If I select the 1X4 then the package box at the top right is greyed out.

Is this what you are seeing, and thinking it means the package is

missing? If so, take a closer look down the left side of that list, and

click on the expander arrow to the left of the part.
