    Hello,

This is a very common question. Depending on what version of EAGLE you are using the feature is either called restring (eariler versions) or annular ring (newer versions) and it's a DRC setting. Basically the library draws the part as you expect but then when you load it into a design, in the board where the DRC has become a factor the pads swell to meet the minimum size required to meet the minimum annular ring setting in the DRC. You can adjust these setting so they pads show as you expect, but do check you have configured the DRC to meet the requirements of your PCB manufacturer first. Often they provide a .dru file which configures the DRC (and board stackup) for their capabilities. It might be that once you load this the issue goes away, or you might have to adjust it some more.

    Best Regards,

    Rachael
