Place image (.bmp or similar) in .BRD or .SCH files?

autodeskguest

I was looking around for a way to import an image such as a bitmap or other

into a schematic or board file.  I wasn't seeing it.  Is there a way to do

with a command I am overlooking?  I see the export, but I would like to

important a logo and some other itmes into a schematic drawings.

Thanks,

Tim

I hope the next release of Eagle will handle image files itself. This

ulp is very useful but so dirty...

Also check out Falk Stricker's EAGLE Power Tools which allows you to import many

different graphics formats. Look in the miscellaneous area of the downloads

    ftp://ftp.cadsoft.de/eagle/userfiles/misc/eagle_power_tools_415a.exe.

    Regards, Philip.

Yeah, I checked out some time ago. By the way it won't install if you

    don't have a C: drive. What bad!

However, it does a lot of interesting things but it also costs about 130

euro (www.precma.it). I can't imagine why CadSoft left a so huge lack

(perhaps everybody who use a CAD want to import some pictures, logos or

other stuff) and then sells separately a "patch" to fill the lack.

err.... to say the truth, I don't see the EAGLE Power Tools price in the

official website. Definitely, how much does it cost (if any)?

    Thanks!

Thanks for the tips guys.  I hadn't gotten to reviewing the ULPs yet, but my

first glance I see many great things in there.  I think I will try the power

    tool download first.

    Hi Marco,

I know this problem and I'm working on a new install routine that works on

    each drive...

    Best Regards

It would be nice, indeed. However, I inserted an USB pen in my computer,

assigned the C: letter to it and then I was able to successfully install

the demo version of your program.

    Thanks

I have Power Tools, worth every penny if you need what it does.

Yes some other programs might have these tools built in but cost thousands

    more from the begining.

I import  DXF into Eagle and fast find is great

Yeah, I agree. And I thanks Falk Stricker for the great job. I disagree

with CadSoft for this lack, I don't see any good reason to don't add

    such a features.

However, could you confirm Power Tools costs 130 euros?

    Thanks
