Hello kristian@oien.net !:
How can I update the current board when I've done changes in the
schematic? I.e. when I delete a part in the schematic, it's still
visible on the board.
It means you have not the backannotation on !!!!!
Please don't make any changes until SCH and BRD are loaded and the FB
annotation is on. If you start the ERC check you get the info the board
and schematic is consistent or not. If not you lost the FB annotation
some time ago ....
Best wishes

In other words, it's going to be a pain if your brd and sch files lost
consistency and you've made lots of changes! Never make changes to the
schematic when the board is closed, or vice versa, unless you have
specific reason to.
The best way to do it is to create a project folder and right click that
project folder (red) and click "Open Project". In this way Eagle
remembers your window size and position and automatically opens the brd
and sch files together.
Do NOT close either sch or brd windows. They must both remain open
while working. When you are done, go back to the Control Panel, right
click the project folder, and click "Close Project". It will ask if you
want to save.
If you need to view 2 schematics at the same time, or find yourself
switching b/t schematics, open 2 instances of Eagle instead.
If you want the board and schematic to regain consistency, there are 2 ways:
1) Manually fix everything in the erc
2) With the project closed in Eagle, Delete the brd file (you will loose
any work on layout!!!) and then open the Project in Eagle. Click the
button to switch you to the board, and it will ask you if you want to
create one from the schematic.
