My first couple of schematics/boards in Eagle obviously weren't making
the most efficient use of the Libraries.
I have a Schematic/Board that used a pad from the wirepad.lbr, at some
point the Info command in my Schematic/Board starts showing the
package as 'packagename@1'. Of course - there's no package by this
name in the Library - so I can't edit it.
The Change Package command seems to only gives me the option to change
it to itself - i.e. the appended 'packagename@1'.
Yes, I admit, I might have changed the original in the library...
..but does that mean that I can no longer edit a Device used in my
Project?
I know there's been alot of talk on here about changing/replacing
packages - for now I just need to know if there's a way of
replacing/updating/modifying these Pads -(ideally without losing the
Smashed/custom values for Name and Value and without having to do it
all manually).
Thanks all.
