rebel LED package

Hi,

I'm already two days busy trying to design the package for a Luxeon Rebel

LED (see attached files). It is very difficult and time-consuming to design.

I'm drawing each pad as a polygon now. Is this the right way or does someone

have a faster and simpler method?

Best regards,

Mark

Not sure of your exact requirements for this part but here are things to

    consider.

    1. Polygons for the stop and cream or any other non conductive layer can

    be in a lib footprint.

    2. Non pad copper can not be in the lib without DRC errors.

    3. You can write a script to draw the polygons using the mark.

    4. When you Copy/cut paste an named polygon you can not rename one

without changing all of those named nets after you paste.

For #3 you export a complete one and then edit it as needed to add the

    relative coordinates.

For #4 Group, Cut , Rename original, paste new (with original name).
