I notice on some people's boards that only traces and fiberglass are
visible, while on others, instead of the fiberglass, there's copper
everywhere, except for a small insulating gap between the copper and the
traces. I assume these copper areas are "pours" and, on 2-layer boards, are
a power plane on one side and ground plane on the other. Do I have that
right?
If so, how do you lay out your board in Eagle so that the autorouter can
rout your traces and create a single, contiguous pour on each side of the
board?
Thanks.
