I have four layer board with layer two as a ground plan and the rest signals.

The PCB board shop tells me I have overlapped thermal and antipads on my

ground plane.  There is one place on my PCB that I see this.  It's on a

through hole part where the pins are very close together.  I used the

autorouter and I get no DRC errors, however one of the thermal fins is

missing on this part due to an adjacent antipad.  What is the best way to

fix this?  Is there a setting in the DRC tool that can allow the autorouter

to fix this automagically?  I'm using the Eagle default settings now.

Thanks in advance.

See the recent discussion about why using supply layers is so error prone:

For inner layers, you don't need thermal pads.  Thermals are only needed

on outside layers (TOP/1, BOT/16) for soldering through hole parts.

BTW, I run GCPrevue to check my boards before sending them to be

fabricated.  Some times I have freeDFM.com check my board as well.

FreeDFM is free and fast (only a few minutes).
