What does "Polygons may have fallen apart" mean.

Everything I've tried so far gets this error in the autorouter.  I'm

creating a polygon named gnd.

 

The board routes fine without the polygon.

    AFAIK, this means that portions of your ground polygon aren't connected

    to anything.  These are also known as "orphaned" polygons.  If you have

    ground polygons on the other side of the PCB, then use vias to connect

    the top and bottom ground polygons.  If ground "orphans" can't be

    connected to ground, then those "orphaned" should be deleted (turned

    off).  See CHANGE -> ORPHANS -> ON / OFF.
