pcb and diagram consistent

Is there a way to correct the component (type/shape) on de pcb layout

when I have changed the circuit diagram? And visa versa (back annotate)

when I changed the shape on the PCB and want to correct the circuit

diagram? So I get a pcb and diagram consistent to each other.

    Always keep both the schematic and board file open.  That way annotation

    will happen automatically.

    same time... if they are, and if you change something in sch, it will be

    changed on board...

    So, if one screwed up and made a change on the schematic without the

    board being opened are they inconsistent forever or can it be fixed?

    John - who just did that yesterday and should have stopped when he got

    the warning message, but didn't.

     

  • Yes, fix all errors reported after running ERC (make a hardcopy, it's

    easier). Maybe you must run the ERC a couple of times.
