FIND Text Strings in Schematic

Hello

 

Long time Eagle user - First support post

 

We do Machine Electrical drawings with Eagle (current V4.92.5 Pro on Linux

and Win2000).  Some drawing sets cover over 30 sheets.  We often need to

make changes to the same reference text item (EG: OLS-OK) that may appear

on many of the sheets.

 

We tried  find.ulp  but it can not find text strings.

 

So far the only way we can find a text string is by saving a PDF and search

from there (Thanks for the PDF - Very useful in many ways), but it can't do

a replace.

 

Any help would be appreciated.

    Hello,

     

    searching a text is not be possible at the moment. But this would

    be a job for an ULP. I will talk to Mr. Zaffran who wrote find.ulp.

    Maybe he adds this feature.
