Exporting design to Gerber files.

Hello!

I have made some small PCB in the free version of Eagle version 4,16r2.

It's two small boards i have made, and i have the same problem on both.

I'm using GcPrevue for viewing the gerber files i have exported.

Export in Eagle was done by running the excellon.job and gerb274x.job

Importing the files into GcPrevue gives me this errors:

Warning: Zero and/or negative dimension tools detected in the following

tool tables:

a001, "New Combined Aperture Table"

and after that:

User Alert:

3 files imported with critical errors.

Review import results for details.

The imported PCB looks fine, but my drill layer seems to be 10 times to

big in dimensions!

The imported file is here for anyone to look at:

http://www.zapro.dk/public/pcb/Koblerstyring.gwk

Anyone with any comments on this ?? - i'm going crazy to figure this out!

Regards,

Per Jensen.

I suppose that GCPrevue does not recognize the drill data format

correctly. EAGLE exports drill data in 2.4 fomat, inch.

Tried this file but it doesn't work at all with my GCPrevue....

Update your GCPrevue. I'm using Ver. 16.2.2 and import of the file works.

In the past, I've had drill locations not line up with pads, but I'm not

entirely sure how I fixed it.  The only things that I can think of is to

have the offsets set at 0 and to check the posCord box in gerb274x.cam.

BTW, your solder mask isn't lined up either.  And it looks like your

component-side copper layer "stikprint.cmp" has outlines of your

connectors.  These outlines should only be in the silk-screen layer (*.PLC).

If you can post your BRD file, I'll be happy to run the CAM job and see

    what I get.
