How to create a new testpoint shape?

How do I create a new test point shape? I want an exposed copper ring on the

board, which will contact a spring, but it also needs to be connected to a

signal. If I make the ring and run an SMD pad next to it, I get all sorts

of errors. In the package editor, I can't see how to create a test point.

    The subject says "[...] a new testpoint shape" so I assume you know

    the testpad.lbr. If this is the case, add a new package to that library.

    Then add your new testpad in your design. Of course, you have to do this

    in the schematic so you can define the actual connection like any other

    component.
