How to search for components in schematic

autodeskguest

I have a schematic that is spread across numerous sheets, and as I've worked

the design the designators have gotten a bit scattered between the sheets -

R1 - R7 on sheet 1, R8 on another, R9 is back on sheet 1, R10 on sheet 6 and

so on.

Perhaps there's actually two questions in here -

1) I would like to renumber the components in a more automated manner, is

there a means built-in, or a script for this?

2) When I am manually renumbering, I find that "Name R212 already exists",

and I'd like to easily find it. Is there a search by name (or search by

value for future needs).

thanks,

    Check out the renumber-sch.ulp

To find a component use find.ulp.

       RUN find
