Hi!
I have a component with 2 pads but with only one pin in the symbol. So how
do I connect 2 pads to one pin in the library editor? (device editor).
I have a dpak diode with 2 pads for the anode and one for the catode, but I
dont want 2 pin symbols.

Sorry, but you have to put 2 pins in the symbol. Actually, I find that
quite useful, because then you can see both the pad names on the schematic.
Grit your teeth and get over the inelegance of it, and before you know it
you'll be used to it.
