Ground pour disappears after save

I'm new to eagle 4.16...

Designed a simple two-layer relay board, with a ground wire pad connected to

two relay contacts by a bottom-layer ground pour, for greater

current-carrying capacity.

On the schematic, the net is called GND and connected to a GND supply pin.

No ERC errors.

On the board, first I route all the other traces. I have a few short

airwires left between the wire pad, and the relay contacts.

I draw a polygon and name it GND, and hit Ratsnest, and a lovely ground pour

appears. If I use the Info button, it says it is GND.

Problem: I save the board, and when I re-open it, the ground pour is gone,

and I just see the polygon! If I Retsnest again, the ground pour

reappears... until I save it again.

I must be doing something wrong, but I can't figure it out. Can anyone help?

thanks

That's perfectly correct. Only the polygon is saved in the *.brd file. Never

    the filled area.
