Counter Bore Drill

Using 4.x version, I'd like to put a .030 counter bore hole in a .062 board

for a wire turret. Very tight small board, don't have room on the board to

go all the way thru. I believe the manufacturer supports this (checking on

that) But I don't see any way to specify drill depth in Eagle. Any

suggestions?

    How many layers has your board got?

     

    Although many manufacturers support blind and buried vias, this is done on

    multilayer boards, where it is then relatively straight forward and

    achieving it in eagle is dependent upon your drc settings.

     

    Alternatively for a two layer board it would be a special milling operation,

    which most certainly would be non standard.

     

     

    What you need to do is

    1. Phone the manufacturers before hand find out what they require and can do.

    2. write detailed instructions in your readme file

    3. send the files to your manufacturer

    4. phone them up again and speak to the person taking care of your job.
