No sorry, this is not possible. You had to use TEXT for placing
signal names.

No sorry, this is not possible. You had to use TEXT for placingsignal names.
Sounds like a job for a ULP, assuming that the pin names or signal
names are defined in the package definitions or schematics... Hmm.
