Is there a way to get eagle to report the trace length from pad to pad?
Doing this by hand is not practical or accurate when trying to equalize
the phase between two different nets.

Excuse my ignorance, what is "ULP" and what do the letters stand for as the
help file says nothing about it? How do you use it? Do you go to a separate
Eagle library and invoke it there? I am very new to Eagle and find some of
the acronyms confusing. I too would like to measure line lengths.

Try length.ulp or length-freq-ri.ulp.

ULP = "User Language Program"
These are programs which can be run either in the schematic or the board
editor window (depending on the job the ULP does).
Under the "File" menu, choose "Run" and then type the name of the ULP
you wish to run. Alternatively, just type "Run " of course)
ULPs are stored in the directory "User Language Programs" which you can
access from the Control Panel (the window you first see when you load Eagle)
A large selection comes with the normal installation, and a great many
more can be downloaded from the Cadsoft site.
