G'day all
We have a PCB milling machine that requires correct numbering (T1,T2,T3 ..etc) to select the the correct drill bit with it's ATC(Auto Tool Changer)
This is were we run into problems, in that, I am unable to get eagle to allocate a specific tool number to a drill. I have set the correct numbers to drills under Options settings drills but the cam processor ignores it and sets the tool numbers to drills used. eg if only six drills are used it will ignore the numbering I require and allocate the umbers 1 - 6. That is to say if I use 0.7,0.8,0.9,1,1.1,3 mm drills and I have set them to be 0.7 to be T2, 0.8 - T3, 0.9 - T4, 1 - T5, 1.1 - T6, and 3 - T11 to align itself with the milling machine. It allocates it to T1-T6. You may say just live with and adjust the milling machine every time you use it but we mill different boards at the on time and if the each have different allocations for tools it just doesn't work. There must be a way to get eagle to obey the drill allocation? anyanswers ? also as we only have metric drills I would like it to round up to the nearest Metric drill in the drill list when the footprint gives me a imperial drill size, again any answers
