How to transfer device from  project files?

I have devices that are in old project files and not my libraries.  I can

cut and paste them to new projects, and they come up just fine on the

schematic and layout, but I have not been able to edit them.  I would like

to be able to put these devices in my libraries so I can edit the packages.

    Use exp-project-lbr.ulp to have the parts in libraries again.

    Now you can copy them into your default libraries.
