Unable to see Printer with Ubuntu

I have Eagle 4.16r2 light on Ubuntu.  I try to print a schematic and the

printer dialog box is empty.  I access a Windows HP C4100 with cups.  If

I just click on print, the schematic is printed in black/white.

 

Other applications allow me to see this printer in the printer dialog box.

 

I have googled, but, found nothing.  Ditto in the user manual.

 

Any ideas?

    Please check if there is a file named /etc/printcap. I

    suppose not. The newer disbritutions have moved it to

    /var/run/cups/printcap. In yours too?

    If yes, please define a soft link to printcap in /etc.

    Now it should work.
