I have created a few components that are composed of several schematic blocks - e.g. FPGAs where power connections are on one symbol, JTAG and programming ports on another, and all the IO banks as separate symbols. The problem is that I couldn't get them all to fit within the A3 drawing frame - and since they are separate symbols, that should not represent too much of a problem - so I need to have some on a different page.
I have tried the cut - delete - paste procedure, but that still created a new component designator for the moved symbols, and merging them back together by using the "Name" tool was not possible. Does anyone know how to go about this?
