Problem going from schematic to board

Former Member
Former Member over 14 years ago

I am using an AVR-MEGA8-PPTH in a schematic of Eagle v.5.8.0 and I have several pins of the MCU connected to separate LEDs. For some reason, when I switch to board, all those pins become connected together which obviously is a problem as I need to control each of them individually.

Any ideas out there would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks,

GervQC

It's likely an airwire is just going over the other pins as it heads to

where it's truely connected. Start routing and it should become clear.

I did the wiring of those components again and now everything looks fine when I switch to board.

    Thanks Warren,

I guess you may have copied the wires on first attempt.. If you copy a

single signal on schematic (not group copy), it will keep the same netname

    and hence be connected.
