Some times as part of a project certain parts of the design will be hard wired and these need to be documented ,
When designing a schematic symbol, Is there a way to make schematic symbols without an associated pcb footprint?
For example:
connecting mains filter, switch and transformer together that are not on a pcb.
Summary:
Do I need to create a separate circuit diagram for these components or is there a way of including them on the circuit diagram but not on the pcb layout?
