Hi,
I had smashed a few components, and deleted their parts names, but now I'd like to see the names again. Is it possible to get them back without deleting and re-adding the component? The routing was rather complicated...

Hi Scott,
Unsmash it, that will bring back the the components names and values,
you can then smash it again to move stuff around.

Hmmm, I tried that, but it didn't work. I'm on version 5.6.0 both Mac and WindowsXP
**edit** I just tried to add another of the same component to the board, and it has no name or value either, so I think it's a problem with the actual library component

Once you have deleted the NAME and VALUE of a smashed device you simply
SMASH the device again to have the Name and Value text reappear.

Just to clarify my statement. This is the way it worked in v4.16 so it may
still have been that way at v5.6
It works the way Jorge says in v5.11.
