Hello everybody,
I am trying to export my eagle board top and bottom copper layers to postscript files via the CAM processor. But I am running into an strange issue.
Here is my setup:
Operating system: Windows XP
Eagle Cad version: 6.0.0 freeware (recently upgraded from 5.11.0 and from 5.7.0
Printer: Canon pixma ip4200 with inkjet transparencies
Vector drawing program: Inkscape
When I import the generated PS files into inkscape i notice very fine lines in the groundplane fills for bottom and top layers. These lines are showing up in my transparencies printouts.
I have reverted to eagle 5.7.0 and with that version this problem does not show up. I have also tried 5.11.0 and there I do have the issue, so between 5.7.0 and 5.11.0 this problem showed up.
I am sure this is not due to the printer. If I flip the board the lines in the filled areas flip too. This problem also does not show in the traces, vias and pads.
I have also tried printing to ps file from the print menu, same problem.
I have tried different PCB's files, same problem.
This seems like a bug. Is there a workaround pending? Can anybody confirm this problem?
I have attached the generated PS files.
