Can't open v.5 schematic in v.6

Because "An error occurred while parsing the itermediate XML file...",

apparently gates need to be named in v6 but not v5.  This has been discussed, but I don't know how to fix it.  Apparently many parts in my library have something unnamed, but I can't figure out what or how to fix it.

Any  fixes?  There's a couple of hundred parts in the library, I've checked "RES" and "ARO" only...

Could you please send me one file for checking this?

I have similar problem. Did schematic in V.6 but it doesn't open in V.5 on the other computer where the CNC is connected

    Hi Nejc,

Files in EAGLE are not backwards-compatible. V5 can not open a V6 file.

    hth,
