Components Footprints Pad

Hello everybody.

 

Just to ask, how to make the footprints Pad bigger ?

This is the footprints.How can I make it to become like in below ? Or perhaps bigger abit ?

    Hi,

     

    If the sizes of the pads are set to 'auto', then it's a DRC setting which determines how much bigger they are.

     

    In the DRC, select the 'Restring' tab. Then, change the Top and Bottom (and Inner, if you're using >2 layers and need it) minimum value for pads to the minimum diameter you need - or you can make it a percentage of the hole size.

     

    Note that this will affect EVERY pad. If you want a specific component to be a different size, then what I do is make a copy of the library and change the pads one by one (it takes a bit of time though!)
